Deadline for registration and abstract submission was Sunday, January 31, 2010.
Detailed guidelines for participants (submission process, file formats, ...) can be found at
the following pages.
Please note that abstract submission is mandatory for
all presenting authors of the "Discussions".
There is also a possibility to submit
extended contributions structured as a regular research
paper.
Why to send an extended contribution?
While abstract cannot be referenced in the database of scientific
literature, RIV, the extended contributions containing original
results undergo short peer-review process and should be given
to the RIV database.
Abstracts will be published in English in the journal of the Czech
and Slovak Crystallographic Association Materials Structure
and will be available during the registration.
Lectures will be given in English.
Poster dimensions are 90x120 cm.
Registration
The registration fee (if paid before March 7, 2010) totals to CZK 2,700.00
for non-student participants and CZK 1,500.00 for students.
The fee covers registration, one issue of the journal Materials Structure
with abstracts, full board from Thursday evening till Saturday lunch, and two night
accommodation.
For purposes of bookkeeping, the fee can be divided as follows:
Non-students: registration CZK 1,000.00, accomodation CZK 1,200.00, food CZK 500.00
Students: registration CZK 300.00, accomodation CZK 700.00, food CZK 500.00
The payment can be cancelled until March 15, 2010 with cancellation fee of CZK 500.

Cash payment at the registration booth is possible with an extra fee
of CZK 500.-.
Accommodation & Boarding
Accommodation is offered in single and double bed rooms at the Castle,
at the
"Rezidence hotel"
and also in three-to-four bed rooms in the Servit monastery.
In case of insufficient capacity, accommodation in local hotels and
bed&breakfests may be offered.
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at the
"Rezidence hotel" approximately 200 m from the Castle
main building.
Transportation
Buses go to Nove Hrady from Ceske Budejovice approximately every
2 hours. Please get off the bus at the station "Autobusove nadrazi",
not at the station "V udoli".
Train connection is possible, but the distance from the railway
station to Nove Hrady is approximately 5 kilometers.
